The branch continues to host quarterly meetings of the Rutland Water Partnership which brings together representatives of Anglian Water, Rutland County Council, the parishes around the reservoir and a number of the water sports and activity groups that use or are based Rutland Water. Guest speakers this year included John Wadham looking at recent ecological changes in the Aquatic Fauna at the reservoir and Rutland County Council’s Sustainability and Climate Change Officer, Harriet Masters who leads initiatives for the council’s strategy, community engagement, and reducing carbon emissions, working with council leaders and partners to embed environmental goals.
